ahh what a day. chilled for about an hour at starbucks with a bud today, went to my grandma's, relaxed at elena's for a bit, hit the texas roadhouse, obviously the goodwill with my thrift buddies freeze & e-wing, then back to the wenger's to pick up the 'lude....but once we got there and i saw a billion cars i remembered renae was having bible study, so i stayed. so now i'm just recapping. is that a word? eh, frankly i'm just too lazy to make the trip to dictionary.com.
before i forget how the dialogue went....let me tell you. today at goodwill when we were checking out, there was this crazy lady in the line next to us.
"what are you all doing?"
freeze,"uhh, nothing."
"its a guy thing??"
freeze, "oh no...um nothing."
"oh..." points and wags her finger at us, "i have a daughter your age!"
all, "hmm"
then she rants on to the cashier, "you know what i do when i'm mad at my neighbors? i go out on the front lawn and sing 'i'm beautiful'!"
by this time me, my cashier, and the rest of C to the threezy is about to lose it. oh but she's not done, she glances down to the title of the VHS she's buying...
"BET MIDLER, GYPSIE! that is so margarita niiiiight!!"
"...uhh heh heh."
still chatting it up with her clerk she is shocked, " yawni!? you've never heard of yawni?"
then she looks at me expectantly, "would you please explain yawni to her!"
"uhh sorry i don't know yawni."
i can't begin to describe how much i enjoy unexpected dialogue. it is more than entertaining to me. completely unstable people are so much more amusing than the average joes of the world who choose not to shriek out their every thought. but it sure does make you appriciate the 'margarita night' people of the world.
