red bull. the X factor.

wow. red bull is amazing. today started off as a pretty descent day. band at hummer, keyboarding, and ThEn, i went to meet my mom at lunch time. why? because my senior pictures are here. they're pretty good. so apparently i got back to school late, because as soon as i walked in, i was bombarded by a woman with an autograph fetish. this woman was overly calm/pleasant about her gruesome task of asking me to sign her little sheet of tardy students. i felt like i was signing my soul to the devil. basically i was supposed to go to detention after school for a half hour because i was at school at 12:19, not 12:18. sooo, no i didn't go. i would've, but i had some hardcore awesome plans for after school. and i was already in a time crunch...a wasted half hour would never do. (eventually i will most likely have to go for a full hour b/c i 'skipped' that one, but that's the price i was willing to pay) what could be worth such humiliation? red bull, baby, red bull. at 3:10, i met melissa and we headed out to lake shawnee for practice. we had pre-arranged plans to stop at a kwik shop for some red bulls. melissa & i were both red bull virgins. so we were pretty stoked. hahha, we looked so funny after that first sip. it has a really different aftertaste. eager to see the results, i'd downed mine by the time we got to lake shawnee. oh my goodness. i could not stop smiling/laughing. and it was really cold too. so my nerves were shot. i felt kinda stupid, b/c i'm sure i didn't look normal, considering how i felt. imagine me at my absolute happiest, that's how i was for at least 7 good minutes. i honestly could not bring myself back down. finally after running a couple miles, i felt a little more normal. THEN we started running 400's. i'm pretty sure the ole bull was kickin in, because i was running right behind jacqueline, the fastest girl...ever. red bull is definately the coolest thing ever, and the fact that it's legal is awwwesome.
