mini family reunion i.e. christmas

This much needed break has been amazing so far. Allow me to express the absolutely and impossibly amazingness of it all...
eexciting event numero uno: to jump start my christmas vaca, thursday night (last week) shay and i drove out to the airport to pick up my grandparents from idaho.
e friday i got to hang with the coolest 9 year old i've ever met..my cousin, maybe. (uncle kevin remarried and his current wife, meg, has 2 daughters, kirkland & kyra) kirkland couldn't make it, but kyra was here. she's so rowdy and perfect. i want her to be my little sister.
e i took my first passenger (kyra) on the dirt bike. i was kinda nervous, but it was grand. then we had a snowball fight.
e christmas eve, went to service, then justin and i took care of the whole santa clause bit for kyra to be stunned with in the manana. it looked amazing. we had carrot pieces scattered all over the deck (reindeer of course). then justin and i stayed up way late, mainly watching shakespear in love (it was on ok..) and trying to get ourselves psyched up for christmas. didn't really work.
e christmas was splendid..actually it was different than any other christmas i've experienced. i guess you could just say that christmas is for the kids.
e somewhere in the mix, i ate duck, and crawfish or some nonsense. kevin made 'gumbo' the state food of southern arkansas er sumthin.
e on christmas day, after all the festivities (about 8pm) i drove justin and kim back to manhattan, the most well known city by their town of wamego, the most well known small town next to their hometown of louisville, kansas. then me and the boy drove from louyville to manhattan, and we got lost. then we went back and chilled. watched elf and such. and i stayed the night. and in the morning we had mochas at the perk. then i drove back to topeka.
e that reminds me...i now drink coffee. mochas, half-caffs, fraps, lattes, rather soothing that java stuff.
e i've discovered limewire. and i now download music for free. and i love it. i absolutely love it.
e saw elizabethtown with the females of the fam. its real good.
e i leave for colorado tomorrow. :D with ma, pa, and justin. we gonna shred it up!
e my grandma (from in town) had me meet yet another 18 year old guy. i doen't know how, or why, she does it. she picks up more guys than i do. haha. but yes the dude's from india and works at the coffee shop where she goes every morning. she invited me to go with her the other day. truth be told, i just wanted to get my caffiene deprived paws on some more jjjjjjava.

I been tagged, yo

5 Weird Habits of Mine:

1. I take off my shoes...every chance I get. I never wear shoes at home, if it's warm outside I'll walk around the hood without shoes, and at school during passing time and lunch....no shoes, just socks. The whole 'no shoes at school movement' of mine, has just started this year. I think it has something to do with seniority.
2. Sometimes I prance/run/bound around the house...mostly to make Ashton laugh, occasionally just cause. Then after I've gotten all the energy out, I'll happen to pass a mirror and then I just laugh. It's awesome.
3. This is a very weird habit, because I'm completely unconscious of what I'm doing. My mom will be washing dishes and I'll be drying, and suddenly about half way through the process...I'll hang up my towel and walk away. hahha, I guess I just decide I've had enough.
4. When I drive home from school, it's almost like the Prelude is on autopilot. Because it's become such a habit that I don't even pay attention. It's real weird. Yesterday on the way home, I glanced in my rearview and there's a car riding me. So then I was like, "What the heck? Did I cut him off on that last turn? ..I don't even remember looking both ways.. ahh!"
5. I chew gum like it's going out of style.

...Don't even hate, you know this is the best kind out there.

Sally Jessy Raphael

This happens to be my cousins and I reinacting the sally jessy raphael talk show... thank you grammy o. for supplying the costumes. My best guess is that this extravaganza took place eh...about 8 years ago. Wow. I can't believe it's been that long. Anyhow, I get a bang out of it every time I see it, so I thought I'd share the joy. *left to right* Amanda Miller is playing the role of some hoochie mama (literally she was playing casey & I's mom) who wears skanky clothes. And..I have no idea why she looks like she's about to bust a cap. Casey Miller played my fellow neglected sibling. Josie Miller ...I don't remember but she looks freaking hilarious nonetheless. Jamie Miller tended to dominate the talk show. She was a former skank/mom who got a 'makeover' (basically a granny makeover as seen the the picture, thanks to sally's utter genius.) And she did a histerical job of convincing the audience of her new found happiness in the floral wear & black wig. Me...I was just thankful none of gram's dresses happened to fit me yet. And Jess was Sally herself. Now you all know the disturbing, yet exquisite happenings that were my youth.

AIM high

the most lovely and unexpected aim conversation i've had in ... forever. it was mainly grand because i had said goodbye, then michelle hits me with this heartfelt proposition...

moo: icats, lets be friends after we graduate
moo: and when we get old and have kids...
moo: lets still be friends
me: sounds good
me: so it's settled then
me: we'll always be friends
moo: good
me: out
moo: peace
